Chilean water utility company Nueva Atacama has asked for authorization to sell UF2.3 million ($71.5 million) in 15-year inflation-linked bonds in the local market.
The company will use the process to refinance short- and long-term debts, as well as for investments and working capital, according to documents filed with the securities regulator CMF. It will issue the notes in unidades de fomento, or UFs, a unit of account adjusted for inflation.
