Bonds Debt Capital Markets Fixed Income Project & Infrastructure Finance Colombia

Colombian subway company Empresa Metro de Bogotá (EMB) said Tuesday that it issued COP2.4 trillion ($644 million) in bonds in the local market to finance construction of the first line of the capital city's new rapid transit system. EMB will provide the financing to Apca Transmimetro, the consortium led by China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) that won the 28-year concession contract to build and operate the subway line in October last year.
