Private developers could raise up to $15 billion to invest in Brazil's water and sanitation industry from the sale of green bonds in the next decade, Regional Development Minister Rogério Marinho said on Monday. "The expectation is that of the $100 billion of investment that is needed over the next 10 years... around 10% to 15% of this could be channelled through green bonds and debentures," Marinho said during a online seminar hosted by the the trade and investment promotion agency Apex-Brasil.
