The International Finance Corporation (IFC) said Friday that it led a $100 million loan for agribusiness Adecoagro to invest in dairy production in Argentina.
IFC provided $57.3 million from its own account, including $17.8 million for wastewater treatment, and arranged $42.8 million through the Managed Co-Lending Portfolio Program (MCPP) with institutional investors. The tenor on both tranches in eight years with a two-year grace period, IFC said in a press release.
