Argentina's state-backed energy company YPF said Monday that it has modified an offer to swap a $1 billion in 8.5% 2021 bonds for longer-term notes, saying it will pay more in cash to investors who accept the terms early — and less to those who do not.
The offer is to exchange the dollar-denominated bonds for a new series of bonds that mature at the end of 2025 and pay the same rate of interest.
