Debenture Debt Capital Markets Fixed Income Rule 476 Brazil

Brazilian retailer Via Varejo has issued BRL1.5 billion ($274 million) in debentures in the local market, less than two weeks after it raised BRL4.46 billion in a share sale, according to the capital markets association Anbima. The company split the deal into two parts with BRL850 million in two-year notes and BRL650 million in one-year notes.
