Brazilian state-owned oil company Petrobras released a teaser late Thursday for its stakes in five power generation companies that operate thermoelectric and small hydroelectric power plants.
Petrobras wants to sell its 20% in Brasympe, Suape II and TEP, 40% in CEM and 30% in Brentech, according to the teaser.
Brasympe owns 60% of Termocabo, which operates a 49.7 MW fuel oil-fired thermoelectric plant, and Suape II operates a 381 MW fuel oil-fired plant. Both are in Pernambuco.
