US asset management firm Riverstone has agreed to buy 80% of two solar power plants in Mexico from Spanish developer Opdenergy for an undisclosed amount, according to a press release from earlier this week.
New York-based Riverstone will take over the 106 MWp Andalucía II in the northern state of Coahuila and the 38 MWp Aguascalientes Sur I in the central state of Aguascalientes through the deal, subject to regulatory approval, Opdenergy said in the release.
