Six companies, including two looking to enter the water and sanitation sector for the first time, are interested in bidding for a BRL2.6 billion ($514 million) water and sanitation concession in the state of Alagoas, a source working on the auction told LatinFinance.
Four water and sanitation companies – South Korea's GS Inima and Brazilian operators BRK Ambiental, Aegea and Águas do Brasil – are interested in participating in the concession, the source said.
