Brazilian data center company Ascenty announced plans on Wednesday to enter the Mexican market and build two facilities in the central state of Querétaro.
The Campinas-based company, owned by US data center operator Digital Realty and Canadian investment manager Brookfield, also said it has signed long-term contracts in US dollars for the Mexican operations of a "leading global cloud provider," without giving the name of the company.
