Ascenty sets up shop in Mexico

Brazilian data center company Ascenty announced plans on Wednesday to enter the Mexican market and build two facilities in the central state of Querétaro. The Campinas-based company, owned by US data center operator Digital Realty and Canadian investment manager Brookfield, also said it has signed long-term contracts in US dollars for the Mexican operations of a "leading global cloud provider," without giving the name of the company. Ascenty expects to start operations at the two new facilities
