Paraguay's government could announce plans on Monday to raise $400 million for social spending as part of an economic recovery program after the coronavirus pandemic, Finance Minister Benigno López said on Friday. The money will go toward an 18-month, $2.5 billion plan to rebuild the economy after the health crisis, he said in an interview on Universo 970 AM radio in Asunción.
