Paraguay's government could announce plans on Monday to raise $400 million for social spending as part of an economic recovery program after the coronavirus pandemic, Finance Minister Benigno López said on Friday.
The money will go toward an 18-month, $2.5 billion plan to rebuild the economy after the health crisis, he said in an interview on Universo 970 AM radio in Asunción.
The ministry could not be reached for more information.
