South African mining company Anglo American said Thursday that it signed a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with local renewable energy developer Casa dos Ventos to build a BRL2.4 billion ($448 million) wind farm capable of providing 30% of the miner's energy needs in Brazil.
