IDB Invest, part of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), has arranged a $37.5 million loan for Banco Cuscatlán "to increase the availability of stable and medium-term resources" for small businesses in El Salvador.
The financing includes $12.5 million from the China Co-finance Fund for Latin America and the Caribbean, or China Fund, from the IDB and the People's Bank of China (PBC), IDB Invest said in a press release on Monday.
