Canadian renewable energy company Polaris Infrastructure said it has until the end of the year to buy a 10 MW hydroelectric power project in Panama from local energy investment firm Navitas.
Polaris said it can buy the project for "nominal upfront consideration" and added that it expects to invest $15 million to $20 million to finish the run-of-river Chuspa project in the western province of Chiriquí, according a statement on Tuesday.
