YPF Luz, the power division of Argentina's state-backed energy company YPF, said its board of directors has approved plans to sell up to $50 million in bonds, a latest energy company to take a shot at raising funds in a liquid market.
The issue will come out of a global bond program for up to $1.5 billion, the company said in a securities filing.
YPF Luz, one of the largest power generators in Argentina, did not say when it could go to the market or provide any details on the proposed issue.
