Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer said Monday that it appointed Arjan Meijer to oversee the reintegration of its commercial division following the breakdown of a proposed $4.2 billion joint venture with Boeing.
Meijer replaces CEO John Slattery, who is leaving the Brazilian company to be CEO of GE Aviation, the aircraft engine manufacturing division of General Electric (GE), according to a press release from Embraer.
