The Rio de Janeiro began on Tuesday the public consultation process on a concession for the state-owned water company Cedae, aiming to carry out a deal by the end of the year.
According to the deal designed by national development bank BNDES, the state government will divide Cedae into four units and auctions 35-year concessions for each in December, according to a securities filing.
