Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer confirmed on Tuesday that it is looking into financing options at home and abroad, following a report in the local press that it could sell $1 billion in new shares to the national development bank BNDES.
"Embraer regularly evaluates access to complementary financing sources both in the Brazilian market and the international market," it said in a securities filing.
