The Minas Gerais state government has recruited the national development bank BNDES to study the privatization of the water company Copasa, according to a securities filing.
BNDES will "conduct market consultations with a view to contracting technical services necessary for structuring and implementing the privatization process of Copasa," the state-owned company said in the filing on Tuesday evening.
