Argentine power generation company Genneia raised $27.6 million in the sale of two notes last Thursday, tapping into high investor demand, in particular for dollar-linked bonds.
The company sold ARS425 million ($6.2 million) in six-month notes paying Badlar, a local deposit rate, plus 500 basis points, according to a securities filing. Badlar was 26.5% last Wednesday.
It also sold $21.4 million in a one-year, dollar-linked bond paying 5% interest in the deal, which was led by Banco Macro, Balanz
