The Ecuadorian government has ended talks with Odebrecht after the Brazilian conglomerate said it could not pay fines to settle corruption charges unless it had access to frozen accounts, said in a statement on Thursday.
Odebrecht also suggested its cooperation with prosecutors "could see itself affected" if the central government did not return the money it confiscated, according to the Attorney General's office.
