YPF triples bond issue on demand for dollars

Argentina's state-backed energy company YPF sold $100 million in bonds on Wednesday, three times the minimum amount it had set out to issue, a sign of the strong investor appetite for corporate debt and particularly dollar-linked notes. The company raised $93.2 million from the sale of 18-month, dollar-linked bonds paying 0% interest and another ARS477 million ($7 million) in seven-month, peso-denominated notes paying 600 basis points over Badlar, a local deposit rate, according to two securitie
