Caribbean telecommunications company Digicel Group has put up its subsidiary in the Pacific Islands as collateral in its debt restructuring plans, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Thursday. The Jamaica-based mobile phone and home entertainment company listed Digicel Pacific as the guarantor for the new 2024 notes that it plans to issue to replace its 2022 bonds.
