Drugstore, drugmaker issue debentures in Brazil

Brazilian drugstore chain Drogaria São Paulo issued BRL500 million ($94.2 million) in debentures in the local market, while the pharmaceutical company Blau Farmacêutica sold BRL250 million in notes, according to the local capital markets association Anbima. Bradesco BBI arranged the debt sales for both companies, pricing the 2021 notes for Drogaria São Paulo at the DI interbank lending rate plus 3.55% and the 2027 notes for Blau at the DI plus 1.3%, according to Anbima.
