Chilean electric utility company Colbún repurchased $343 million of its 4.5% 2024 notes by the deadline on March 4, it said in a statement on Thursday.
The company opened the buyback on February 20, offering to pay bondholders $1,087.50 for every $1,000 in principal. It had planned to conclude the deal on February 26, but it delayed the deadline as the markets plunged on concerns about the spread of the coronavirus, COVID-19.
