US steelmaker Steel Dynamics said on Monday that it will fund the planned acquisition of Mexican recycling company Zimmer entirely with cash, but it did not say how much it agreed to spend.
Based in Monterrey, Zimmer recycles ferrous and nonferrous scrap metals at six facilities in Central and Northern Mexico. It also operates third-party scrap processing plants in the country.
