CAF gets credit from Japan

South American development bank CAF said on Monday that it received a new credit line for $200 million from the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and six other Japanese lenders to finance green projects in Latin America and the Caribbean.  JBIC, the Japanese government's export credit agency, provided $100 million in funding and put up a partial guarantee for the co-financed portion of the loan. JBIC granted the loan as part of its Global Facility to Promote Quality Infrastructure
