Brazilian airline Azul said on Monday that it is holding discussions with banks to take out a new loan as it tries to maintain liquidity during the economic downturn caused by the spread of the coronavirus.
Azul also said it is negotiating new payment terms with its partners after the outbreak forced it to cancel all international flights from airports in the state of São Paulo. The airline now plans to operate 70 non-stop flights per day to 25 cities in Brazil, a 90% reduction in total capacity
