Masisa sells forest lands to US timber company

Chilean wood products company Masisa said on Friday that it agreed to sell forestry assets to US timber company Global Forest Partners (GFP) for $350 million.Masisa said it sold 78,220 hectares in Chile and Argentina that can yield 11.8 million trees per year, including 49,939 hectares that have been planted and 5,198 hectares that can be planted, according to a securities filing.
