Brazilian copper company Paranapanema said late on Monday that it has entered restructuring talks with its major creditors, looking to delay upcoming debt payments.
The company added that it plans to maintain "financial discipline" and look for ways to increase revenue by "optimizing the use of its assets," according to a securities filing.
Paranapanema hired Citi in February last year to advise on how to implement investments, increase revenue and reduce debt.
