IEnova, the Mexican subsidiary of the US company Sempra Energy, said on Friday that the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) approved long-term financing for up to $241 million to fund solar projects.
IEnova will add the DFC funding to the $200 million in loans it got from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the North American Development Bank (NADB) in November, the company said in a statement. It added that it expects to close the DFC loan "in the next few weeks."
