Argentina may delay making an offer to restructure $68.8 billion in foreign-law bonds due to volatility in international financial markets as the spread of coronavirus threatens to slow economic growth.
The timeline for the deal will be "logically postponed," Argentina's national news agency Télam reported on Friday, citing unnamed sources close to the proceedings.
The sources said the offer could be postponed until the third week of March, according to Télam.
