ISA acquires energy business in Peru

Colombian state-owned holding company Interconexión Eléctrica (ISA) said on Tuesday that its Peruvian subsidiary ISA Perú agreed to buy the local business of Orazul Energy from the US infrastructure investment firm I Squared Capital.  ISA added that it will disclose the purchase price when the deal closes, subject to regulatory approval. I Squared agreed to buy Orazul in October 2016, when it offered $1.2 billion for Duke Energy's assets in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Peru and El Salva
