Buenos Aires province said it hired Bank of America and Citi to restructure its foreign-law bonds after it almost defaulted on a payment last month, a process that the sub-sovereign issuer hopes will allow it to restore economic growth so it can return to paying creditors on time.
In a statement, the Finance Ministry said the banks will assist the province in making the bond payments "sustainable."
