Two Brazilian companies – homebuilder Mitre Realty and the web services firm Locaweb – debuted this week on the B3 stock exchange, pricing their initial public offerings at the top of the targeted price range, according to filings with the securities commission CVM.
Mitre earned BRL1.18 billion ($279 million) from its IPO on Tuesday by selling 61.4 million shares for BRL19.30 each. In the prospectus issued last month, Mitre had put the targeted price range at BRL14.30 to BRL19.30 per share.
