Brazilian infrastructure company CCR won a 30-year concession contract on Friday for the federal highway BR-101 in the southern state of Santa Catarina, the Infrastructure Ministry said in a statement.
CCR offered to charge BRL1.97 ($0.45) in tolls, 62% below the maximum amount of BRL5.19 set for the auction. The company also took on BRL7.4 billion in estimated investments in the 220km highway, the ministry said.
