Neoenergia, the Brazilian subsidiary of the Spanish electric utility company Iberdrola, said it could sell shares on Latibex, a Madrid-based stock exchange for companies in Latin America.
The Rio de Janeiro-based energy company already trades shares on the B3 stock exchange in São Paulo, but it has asked the Brazilian securities regulator CVM to allow it to list on Latibex too, according to a securities filing.
Other Brazilian issuers on Latibex include Bradesco, Braskem, Gerdau, Petrobras, Usim
