Chilean construction materials company Volcán issued UF2 million ($714 million) worth of inflation-linked notes in the local market, according to a securities filing.
The 10-year paper priced at a fixed rate of 1.83%, Volcán said.
The company will spend roughly 50% of the proceeds to build a new plasterboard production facility and use the rest to expand an asbestos cement factory, refinance debt and cover general corporate purposes.
