The Honduran government has requested a $400 million loan from the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) to fund highway construction projects in the country, according to documents from the regional development bank.
The projects include parts of the Corredor de Occidente and the Corredor Turístico, two toll roads that have been in the works for years, according to CABEI. The development did not say when it will review the financing proposal.
