IDB Invest, the private sector division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), said Friday that it granted trade finance lines to Trinidad and Tobago's Republic Bank in three countries, Barbados, Guyana and Suriname.
Republic's subsidiaries in Barbados and Guyana will receive $20 million each through the Trade Finance Facilitation Program (TFFP), while the branch in Suriname will get $15 million. The credit lines will finance short-term loans for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
