Brazil's Odebrecht said it has changed its name to Novonor to mark the transformation of the company over the past five years, when it has been a target in the Lava Jato corruption probe and has gone through bankruptcy proceedings.
In the same time period, the company has implemented a compliance system that was certified by an independent monitor from the US Department of Justice two months ago, Novonor said in a press release on Friday.
