Caja Arequipa places first local bonds

Peruvian credit union Caja Municipal de Ahorro y Crédito de Arequipa sold PEN57.6 million ($16 million) worth of eight-year bonds in its first deal in local market on Thursday, according to a securities filing.  Caja Arequipa sold the bonds to institutional investors only and priced the 2028 notes priced at par to yield 8.03%, it said.
