The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) said Wednesday that it granted a $250 million contingent loan to help Paraguay deal with natural disasters and future pandemics.
The 25-year loan comes with a 5.5-year grace period and involves $150 million for floods and forest fires and $100 million for epidemics and pandemics, the IDB said in a press release.
