Mauricio Pozo became Ecuador's new finance minister on Wednesday, saying in an online press conference that he had set out specific goals for a relatively short period.
Pozo said he will seek a "basic consensus for the reforms that Ecuador requires," regardless of last week's agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and added that he will bolster the dollarization of the economy and "strengthen the achievements of the previous administration."
