High-yield bond sales by Latin American issuers fell to $4.4 billion in the third quarter this year, down from $8.9 billion in the second quarter, according to a report from Moody's on Monday.
"Only seven issuers tapped the market – mainly in the Ba category – as weaker investor sentiment toward emerging markets deteriorated, limiting access to capital markets, particularly for lower rated companies," Moody's said in the report.
