Compartamos Financiera, the Peruvian subsidiary of Mexican microfinance lender Compartamos Banco, plans to raise PEN400 million ($112 million) through a new local debt program, it said in a prospectus filed on Thursday.
Compartamos will issue fixed-rate bonds with maturities of up to one year during the six-year program. It will use the proceeds to fund loans and cover general corporate purposes, the bank said in the prospectus. BBVA is the structuring agent, it added.
