Mexico's Cemex announced on Wednesday that it agreed to sell assets in the United Kingdom to the British construction materials company Breedon Group for $235 million, including $31 million in debt.
The transaction includes Cemex subsidiary Paving Solutions along with 49 ready-mix plants, 28 aggregate quarries, four depots, one cement terminal, 14 asphalt plants and four concrete products operations, together with some inactive sites, Cemex said in a statement.
