Colombian telecommunications company UNE EPM Telecomunicaciones said it has received approval from the Finance Ministry to issue up to COP1 trillion ($295 million) worth of notes in the local bond market.
The company, which conducts business under the Tigo brand name, added that it is still waiting for authorization to issue new notes from the securities regulator Superfinanciera.
