Transmisión de Electricidad (Tresa), a special purpose company owned by the Honduran conglomerate Grupo Terra, has secured a long-term loan for $56 million to finance Las Cumbres de Agua Blanca wind farm in Guatemala, according to a source close to the deal.
Three European lenders – AFD from France, KfW from Germany and FMO from the Netherlands – provided the money to finance the wind farm in the southeastern department of Jutiapa.
