The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has sold $3 billion worth of five-year bonds in US dollars, tightening the spread since a similar issue in January last year, according to a source at the bank. The new 1.75% notes priced at 99.942 to yield 1.762%, or nine basis points over mid-swaps and 8.3 basis points over five-year US Treasury notes, the source said.
